Consequently, New York has become an essential breeding ground for leaders in every field, including post production film. Meet some of post-productions most important creatives, artists and innovators who are foreign-born immigrants, permanent or temporary and who are responsible for some of our most dynamic collaborations and crucial innovations in the world of post-production film and television.

Moderated by Isabel Sadurni:

ISABEL SADURNI has worked as a producer and picture editor for over 15 years. Her work in documentary features and short narratives has screened internationally in theaters, top-tier festivals, on HBO, The Discovery Channel and PBS. She's a proud member of Post New York Alliance and the producer and host of PNYA's popular podcast,Frame By Frame. She's currently a co-founder or XXLabs, a New York based incubator for financing, development and distribution of female-driven films and televisions series.
 

Panelists:

BEN BAKER originating from Sydney, Australia, has worked across a broad range of projects in the US and the UK. Working for broadcast networks, feature film studios and independent producers as a post supervisor, producer, project consultant, workflow designer and manager. In areas as diverse as on-location dailies, episodic online, high end feature mastering, feature film restoration and digital asset management over the life-cycle of entire projects, from development to distribution. He is currently the VP Of Post Production for Vice Studios.
 
RUY GARCIA was born in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico. He is known for his work on Y Tu Mamá También (2001), Boardwalk Empire (2010) and The Get Down(2016).
 
AVI LANIADO originally from Israel, was Chief Engineer at Sound One and is co-founder and Chief Sound Engineer at Harbor Picture Company. His work includes collaborations with projects directed by Brian DePalma, Wes Anderson, Richard Linklater, M. Night Shyamalan, Ang Lee, Robert Altman, Michael Moore, Darren Aronofsky, Lee Daniels and Todd Haynes.
 
LIDIA TAMPLENIZZA is a sound editor from Sydney, Australia.Recent credits include, Sorry To Bother You, Girls Trip and The Wizard of Lies. Her work also includes collaborations with Jonathan Demme, Todd Haynes Cary Fukunaga and Dee Rees.
