The Actors Fund presents a comprehensive workshop on "How to Address Sexual Harassment Situations in Performing Arts and Entertainment" to help participants understand their rights and responsibilities as a professional. Facilitated by clinical social workers, this workshop looks at risk factors, effects, and the unique issues the performing arts industry faces in addressing sexual harassment. It will also look at how sexual harassment is defined under the federal law and provide participants with resources and information on what to do if they experience harassment in the workplace, and what supports are available. This seminar is especially useful for freelancers if they are ever in an uncomfortable situation.

SPEAKER: LILLIAN GALLINA
Lillian Gallina, LCSW is a clinical social worker at the Actors Fund, a human services organization serving all professionals in arts and entertainment. She supervises the Entertainment Assistance program which provides emergency financial assistance and mental health services to working professionals in the entertainment industry. In addition to her work with individuals, she has lead a variety of workshops and trainings such as Sexual Harassment, Workplace Dynamics, Anxiety and Depression, Substance Abuse, and Mental Health.
