Did you know that goats work at Riverside Park? Every July, there's a celebration to welcome them to their summer duties, and you're invited to join them on their first day back. Come out and discover how they serve as full-time professional weeders, tackling tough-to-reach spots and devouring invasive plants like Porcelain Berry, English Ivy, Mugwort, Multiflora Rose, and Poison Ivy. These incredible animals not only consume 25% of their body weight in vegetation daily, but their presence also enriches the soil with nutrients.

Experience firsthand how goats offer a sustainable, chemical-free solution to invasive species management, freeing up human hands to focus on other crucial restoration tasks. This is a fun day out, so bring your friends & family - there will not be a trash pickup this month.
