In today’s world of filmmaking, new cameras, formats and codecs are released on a weekly basis. We, as industry professionals have learned to be ready to pivot our workflows and allow for these inevitable, and fast paced changes, yet, over the past 18 months there have been some camera manufacturers pushing the envelope as to what is possible with digital image capture in larger formats, that have made the traditional redundancy’s in a pipeline irrelevant.

SimLab in association with PNYA will be presenting an evening of presentation, panel and discussion aimed at helping industry professionals understand the challenges that super large Format acquisitions such as Arri 65, 8k Helium, pose. All the way from set, through to delivery.

Sim’s Director of Workflow, Jesse Korosi, will kick off the night with a presentation highlighting and discussing the key areas for consideration when working with Large Format Acquisition.
